Sometimes we miss the obvious.

Satan always tries to attack us in our area of calling. For Jeff, he feels called to share the testimonies of how God is already on the move in the Middle East and North Africa. Cheri has a heart to not only share the Gospel but also to teach, to train, to help disciple the church that is already going.

According to the Word, Satan is also defeated every time we get to share testimonies: they increase our faith for the impossible, demonstrate the power that God has living in each of us, and reveal His plan to reach His children across every barrier - it's all by Him, through Him, for Him. SO GOOD!

So why wouldn't we expect the most attack to come when we attempt to share what He's being doing in us and through us? We've come to realize that every time we sit to write an email or make a phone call, instantly we become distracted, divided, angry and rattled and annoyed. Sometimes it's subtle and passivity or distraction kicks in; other times it's brutal and we are left contending for our marriage, or like last night for Cheri, her health as a centipede bit her twice in the head. Yikes.

This is both our apology for not doing well enough in sharing our stories as they come, and an ardent prayer request for covering for the future.

Thank you for your support. Thank you for your continued love and prayers; they mean the WORLD to us! We literalily would not be here without you.

But we want to and MUST do better moving forward.

  1. We are not afraid - God calls us to be strong and courageous, for we know that He is with us!

  2. We want to communicate our WINS, our STRUGGLES, and our long-term VICTORIES because through all of them God is glorified. We have a heart to share the lessons we are learning as well as the flashy salvation and healing stories - the Bible is full of both, so why aren't we?

  3. We pray for you guys continually even though it might not always be communicated. Please, please reach out to us with requests or things you are going through - we deeply care for each one of you.

Let's do this.

"That boy's got force!"

The next few emails will be stories and more from the rest of our outreach through France this summer, as well as a few plans for the future. Stay tuned! All our love, the Willeckes
