Some Team Members are missing as they stopped on the way to ministry to pray for people :)
Paris? Let's Go!
After we said goodbye to the Montreux Jazz Festival, our next ministry stop was Paris. One of our highlights from our two weeks there was getting to lead the "Healing on the Streets" stream, which involved a team of 16 Jesus followers who wanted to see God's power manifested on the streets of Paris through actively praying for the sick, the disabled, and those who needed healing of any kind. Each day, we prayed about where we were to go in Paris. Our team went to 10 locations across the City in 9 days of ministry, and the outreach as a whole saw 71 people healed physically and 38 people receive salvation. Wait, what? Only thirty eight? Really? Yes. But there were also nearly 1500 people who received prayer. These numbers actually mark an openness to the gospel that has not been realized yet in France. People are more open now than in any time in history to hearing about Jesus and talking about spiritual things!

For the kids, it's never about
if
they should be involved.. they are always invited! This photo was taken while Daniel and Isaac prayed for this man. He had a slight cut on his head but the thing that was clearly most hurt was his heart. Just the act of the kids praying for this man changed his day. When we approached, he wasn't smiling and was all alone in the park. As we left he had the biggest grin on his face. Kids change the atmosphere if they are allowed. (Daniel has his concentration face on as I helped him pray.)

Prayer is always powerful. Sometimes we get to witness it immediately - like when the wind blew the fountains of Trocadero right into our stage and sound equipment, and we had to run to cover and protect everything, pausing our show and causing people to scramble.
So what did the rest of the team do? Start praying, of course!
God answered - the wind miraculously altered its direction and the show continued and the gospel was shared to hundreds around.

The real treat with everything we did was to see people give their lives to Jesus. The image on the left is something that we saw not once but twice as hecklers in the crowd were drawn out of the audience by the power of the Holy Spirit. The first time we saw this happen was in Montreaux (Photo shown) and the second time was in Paris. Both men were radically delivered and saved.
Here is what is super cool about this experience. You could be a part of this next year. They are are already planning it! Lord willing, we will be there next year too!
